This policy explains what personal information The Online Money Ladder collects, why, and what your rights are. The Online Money Ladder is run by a UK based sole trader, who is the data controller. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- When you buy or download a guide: Gumroad collects your name, email address and payment details to process the order. We receive your name, email and order details. We never see your full card details.
- When you message us by email or social media: your message and contact details, so we can reply.
- When you book or have a call (Rung 3 and Rung 4): your name, contact details and anything you share about your business.
- When you visit this website: our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To deliver what you bought and provide support (to carry out our contract with you).
- To reply to your messages (our legitimate interest in running the business).
- To keep records for tax and accounting (a legal obligation).
- To send you emails about our products, only if you've agreed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business: Gumroad (sales and delivery), Cloudflare (website hosting), and the platforms you choose to contact us on, such as Instagram, Threads, X and email. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as UK tax rules require, normally six years. Messages and call notes are kept while we're working together and for a reasonable time afterwards, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
